#1 Landscape garden

A paradise of nature and plant lovers who will be delighted by beautiful coniferous wood colletion, thought-out flower beds. An interesting collection of stones, defining their energy field. The garden is awarded in county and national level.

For fans of nature, flowers and plants this place will be a paradise. This garded, long cherished and cared for, amazes with it's magnificence, natural glen and the incredible scenery that opens to the Stony seashore of Vidzeme.

#2 Nature park Salaca Valley

Salaca Valley Nature Park is a nature park belonging to the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, which covers the Salaca River Valley from Mazsalaca to Salacgriva. The nature park has been established to preserve the habitat complex of the Salaca Valley, the habitats of specially protected species and the landscape diversity of the valley.

#3 Salaca river

The fifth largest river in Latvia, which flows out ofnLake Burtnieks and is 94.4 km long. The Salaca is the basis of the nature park "Salaca Valley",none of the most picturesque rivers in Latvia with outstandingnnatural values. It is the most important natural salmon spawning river in Latvia. It has been granted the status of a salmon index river. The Salaca River is licensed.

#4 Veczemju cliffs

You’ve probably heard of the Vidzeme rocky seacoast – it is a 12km long section of the seacoast and the only place in the Baltic Sea where on the seacoast you can see sandstone exposures.

#5 Vidzeme stony seacoast

The full lenght of the walk from Tūja to the Latvian-Estonian border is about 44 km. At the starting point in Tūja, the first stop will be the Ķurmrags lighthouse. The next leg to enjoy will be the unique Vidzeme stony seacost and Veczemju cliffs.

Water all around but you - still on land? This is what the Ainaži Northern pier is for – here you can enjoy the eternal cinema of nature – sunset – with shows every evening and every season.

#7 100 swans beach

It is a rare phenomenon when all eyes on the place where the animals like to congregate. When such magnificent creatures as swans for their place of residence choose the beach accessible to all, we just have to be happy that it is so cool here that even swans like to linger. Here, where the beach is rocky and with appropriate depth, they have the best lunch offer!

You are able to see and count most of the birds in the Randu meadows - a trail and a bird watching tower is waiting for you!

#9 Monument "The White Sun"

The memorial stone “White Sun” was created by the sculptor Vilnis Titāns as a tribute to Krišjānis Valdemārs - the founder of the Ainaži Naval School. The memorial site was unveiled in 1998.

#10 Red cliffs

You will find the Red cliffs on Salaca river nearby the iron bridge in Mērnieki. It is a sandstone slope that stretches more than 400 meters along the Salaca river. The slope is 10 meters high, which is more than enough to reveal the magnificent beauty of the river in the sunset.
